| Lama Lobsang Nyima (David Sykes) has been a student of Khen Rinpoche Lobsang Tharchin and Geshe Michael Roach since 1994. He studied logic at Sera Mey Monestary in 1995, as well as vinaya (monastic vows) with Gyalrong Khensur Rinpoche, the former abbot of Sera Mey. He is a fully ordained monk, having taken vows in 1999. He is a very popular and articulate teacher of Buddhism and is skilled in interpreting the teachings in an everyday context. |

| Genyen Lobsang Choephel (Vince Robel) has been a practitioner of Siddha Yoga, under the spiritual direction of Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. He became interested Tibetan Buddhism in 1991 after attending a teaching by H.H. the XIV Dalai Lama in Houston, TX. He met Ven. Lobsang Nyima in June 2005. In September of that year he formally received the genyen, or lifetime layperson vows. |
